Indeed, Happy Mother's Day. I'm off to call my own mother, but can I take some of these outrageous cupcakes to go? You know, like a parting gift? Shame on you for saving the best till last when we were already so shloshed and full; they were the highlight of the party. Oh well, at least you copied down the recipe for all of us so that we can replicate it at home when the hangover wears off!

Oh Krysta! I had such a busy day today and ended up organizing a neighborhood cookout tonight. We had an amazing dinner but around here, the kids (um, like 20) rule the neighborhood roost; the parents all get bombed, and if I had tried to stop to get photos of food I probably would have been shot to death with supersoakers.

I did really want to attend your virtual potluck! It would have been so much more civilized than the cookout that I actually did attend.

You did a great job, I had fun reading through the whole day....and I love Amy Sedaris (actually, I love her evil brother more)!

The good thing about your virtual party is that you don't have to wake up to a messy kitchen, a dirty floor, candle wax everywhere, and a pounding headache!

All my parties from now on will be virtual. You're on to somethin' girl!
