Has anybody been watching Carrier on PBS? If you have... your thoughts? If you haven't, you need to. It's a documentary filmed on the USS Nimitz aircraft carrier. I'm really surprised at the honesty, believe it or not. Sex, religion, politics, war, and family are all talked about and there's a salsa dancing gunny sergeant. I'm obsessed.
When watching Deadliest Catch, does anybody else think that they would get soooo sick on a crab boat or I'm gonna hurl right now because I can't even watch the boat pitch and roll on TV? or am I extra sensitive freak?
I watched Juno last night. I didn't really care for it. Maybe because I was a pregnant teen and most of it wasn't very realistic? Are teens that witty? And how come the baby daddy (yes, I just used the term baby daddy) was let off the hook? I know a lot of people found it pro life or pro choice. I didn't get that from the movie. I found it to be a fairy tale. Am I a big ol' meanie because I didn't find it at all charming, just somewhat annoying?
*update: I wanted to see this movie in the theatre and I really, really, really wanted to like it, so I'm disappointed that I didn't. There were some good parts, it was just overall...blah... Help me understand why I didn't like it.
*big post late this afternoon.
